Security of Your Personal Information
We have implemented security measures to protect the personal information we collect, but no data security measures can guarantee 100% security. You should take steps to protect against unauthorized access to your password, mobile device and computer by, among other things, signing off after using a shared computer, choosing a robust password that nobody else knows or can easily guess, and keeping your log-in and password private. We are not responsible for any lost, stolen or compromised passwords or for any activity on your account via unauthorized password activity.
Access to Your Personal Information and Data Erasure
You may request that your personal information be modified or deleted by emailing us at privacy@key.co. Please note that copies of information that you have updated, modified or deleted may remain viewable in backup systems, cached and archived pages of the Site for a period of time, and we will also maintain certain information, such as your customer ID and user history, as aggregate data. Please note that if you request the erasure of your personal information:
- We may retain your personal information as necessary for our legitimate business interests, such as prevention of money laundering, fraud detection and prevention, and enhancing safety.
- We may retain and use your personal information to the extend necessary to comply with our tax, legal reporting and auditing obligations.
- Information you have shared with others (e.g., reviews, testimonials) will continue to be publicly visible on our Site, even after your KEY account is cancelled. Some copies of your information (e.g., log records) will remain in our database, but are dissociated from personal identifiers.
Marketing Communications
We may send periodic promotional or informational emails to you. You may opt out of such communications by emailing us at privacy@key.co. Please note that it may take up to 10 business days for us to process opt-out requests. If you opt out of receiving emails about recommendations or other information we think may interest you, we may still send you emails about your account or any services you have requested or received from us.
Additionally, KEY leverages SMS messaging for marketing purposes. You, the consumer, are not required to opt in as a condition of purchasing any property, goods, or services. If the you chose to Opt-In, you have the ability to Opt-Out at any time by using the word ‘STOP’. KEY does not share the text message data with any outside companies including but not limited to messaging originator opt-in data and consent.
Children
As noted in our Terms of Use, our Site, App, and Services are not intended for children under 13 years of age. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete such information from our systems.
